A New Milestone for Animated Films

In an impressive feat, "Inside Out 2" has surpassed "The Avengers" to secure a spot in the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time at the international box office. This achievement marks a historic moment, as it is the first animated film ever to reach this milestone. The film currently holds the 10th position, trailing behind cinematic giants like "Avatar," "Avengers: Endgame," "Avatar: The Way of Water," "Titanic," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," "Avengers: Infinity War," "Spider-Man: No Way Home," "Jurassic World," and the 2019 live-action remake of "The Lion King."

Closing in on Domestic Box Office Records

"Inside Out 2" is also poised to break into the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time at the domestic box office. With $646 million already earned in North America, the film is just $8 million shy of surpassing "Jurassic World" ($653 million) to claim its place among the elite.
