Destin Daniel Cretton in Talks to Direct Spider-Man 4

It is reported that Destin Daniel Cretton, known for his work on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is in talks to helm Spider-Man 4 starring Tom Holland. Cretton’s name is already well-known among Marvel fans, as he was previously set to direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. However, the firing of Jonathan Majors and subsequent changes to the storyline shifted Cretton's focus elsewhere.

Cretton is also involved in the upcoming Wonder Man series, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, another new addition to the Marvel Universe. With so many projects under his belt, his growing influence in the MCU cannot be denied. Cretton has also expressed interest in returning to Shang-Chi for a sequel, but for now, Marvel's primary focus appears to be on Spider-Man 4.
