Raymond Cruz, the actor best known for playing Tuco Salamanca on Breaking Bad, was arrested on Monday, September 8, for suspicion of misdemeanor battery. However, no official charges have been filed yet.

The incident happened around 10:40 a.m. in Los Angeles. According to police, Cruz got into a dispute with someone during which he accidentally sprayed water on them while washing his car.

His agent, Raphael Berko, explained that Cruz was cleaning his car when a white minivan with three women parked extremely close to him. Cruz asked them to move because their car was so close that it would get wet. When they refused, he continued washing his car. The women then began filming him.

While Cruz turned to ask them to stop filming, water from his hose splashed onto their car. One of the women called the police, which led to Cruz being arrested—even though, according to his agent, he has never been arrested before and is known for playing a detective on TV for 15 years.

Cruz spent about five hours in custody but said the LAPD officers treated him kindly during that time. He was later released and is scheduled to return to court on October 1.

At this time, no charges have officially been filed against him.
