The movie will face tough competition at the box office, as several big films are also scheduled for release around the same time, including Dracula, Wuthering Heights, and Scream 7.

Along with Hemsworth and Ruffalo, the cast includes Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte, adding even more star power.

A Modern Crime Classic in the Making?

Many are already comparing Crime 101 to the classic crime film Heat because of its intense cop-versus-criminal storyline and powerful cast. The movie is directed by Bart Layton, who also co-wrote the script. Visually, the film aims for a stylish, modern neo-noir look similar to classic 1990s crime movies.
