Since his debut in Marvel Comics in 2011, Miles has grown into a powerful and meaningful version of Spider-Man. Thanks to the Spider-Verse animated movies, his popularity has reached new heights, and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has already confirmed that Miles will eventually appear in the live-action MCU.

One name keeps coming up again and again — Caleb McLaughlin, best known for playing Lucas Sinclair on Stranger Things. Fans have been casting him as Miles Morales for years, and McLaughlin himself has made it clear that he would love the opportunity.

In a recent interview, the actor shared how much the character means to him. He explained that Miles Morales represents something bigger than just a superhero — a symbol that many people can connect with on a deeper level.

McLaughlin also revealed that he feels a personal bond with the character because he grew up in the Bronx, just like Miles. Being a New Yorker, he said, makes the Spider-Verse story feel especially close to his heart.

Some fans have even created mock movie posters showing Caleb McLaughlin’s Miles Morales alongside Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. While Marvel has not made any official casting announcements, it’s safe to say that the idea has caught a lot of attention.

For now, though, fans will have to wait and see when Marvel finally introduces Miles Morales into the live-action MCU.

Caleb McLaughlin’s New Movie Is Coming Soon

Fans won’t have to wait long to see McLaughlin in action. His new animated movie Goat releases on February 13. The film follows a young goat named Will Harris, voiced by McLaughlin, who gets a chance to play professional “roarball,” a sport similar to basketball but played by animals.

The movie features an impressive voice cast, including Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Kroll, David Harbour, Patton Oswalt, and even NBA star Steph Curry.

Will Caleb McLaughlin Become Miles Morales?

Nothing is official yet, but the passion is clearly there — from both the actor and the fans. If and when Miles Morales finally swings into the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe, Caleb McLaughlin remains one of the strongest and most popular choices.
