Drishyam 3 Advance Booking Explodes as Ajay Devgn’s Final Chapter Sets the Box Office Buzz on Fire

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is already creating major excitement at the box office, and the advance booking numbers are showing just how strongly audiences are responding to Ajay Devgn’s return as Vijay Salgaonkar.

With the third and final chapter of the Hindi Drishyam franchise arriving in cinemas on October 2, 2026, advance ticket sales have picked up significant momentum. The film has already crossed the ₹25 crore mark in advance gross bookings for its first four days, according to the latest reported figures. Its opening day alone has crossed ₹13.5 crore in advance gross.

That makes Drishyam 3 one of the most closely watched Hindi releases of the current box-office season.

Drishyam 3 Advance Booking Crosses ₹25 Crore

The latest advance-booking figures indicate that audiences are not waiting until release day to see how Vijay Salgaonkar’s story concludes.

According to data reported on September 30, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion had generated around ₹25.5 crore in advance gross bookings across its first four days, while the October 2 opening day had already contributed approximately ₹13.54 crore.

The numbers include bookings across multiple markets, with Maharashtra, Delhi and Gujarat emerging among the leading contributors.

The film still had time left before its theatrical release, meaning the advance total could continue changing as more shows and seats become available.

Thousands of Tickets Are Already Sold

The excitement becomes even clearer when looking at ticket sales rather than only the rupee value.

Earlier tracking showed Drishyam 3 selling hundreds of thousands of tickets through advance sales. Sacnilk's September 29 data recorded approximately 4.47 lakh tickets sold across 20,986 shows for the first three days, including blocked seats.

The opening day remained the biggest contributor, with more than 2.23 lakh tickets recorded in that update.

National cinema chains have also reported strong demand. Bollywood Hungama reported that the film had sold around 80,500 opening-day tickets across PVR INOX and Cinepolis as of September 29.

These figures underline the strong pre-release interest surrounding the final chapter.

Drishyam 3 Has Already Surpassed Drishyam 2’s Advance Sales Benchmark

One of the biggest talking points around the film is its comparison with Drishyam 2.

According to Filmfare's September 30 report, Drishyam 3 had already surpassed the final advance ticket sales recorded by Drishyam 2 across the three major national chains, with two days still remaining before its theatrical release.

The reported advance gross stood at ₹24.94 crore including blocked seats, or approximately ₹17.74 crore excluding block bookings, across four show dates.

For October 2 alone, the reported advance gross had reached around ₹13.04 crore in that update.

That gives the film an important pre-release milestone before audiences even get to see the conclusion of Vijay Salgaonkar's story.

Why Audiences Are Waiting for Drishyam 3

The biggest attraction is undoubtedly Vijay Salgaonkar.

Ajay Devgn returns as the character who became one of the most recognizable protagonists of the Hindi crime-thriller franchise. The first two films built their stories around Vijay's efforts to protect his family while staying one step ahead of the authorities.

Now, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion promises to bring that story to its final chapter.

The return of the established cast and the mystery surrounding how the franchise will end have helped maintain interest among audiences who followed the previous films.

The title itself also makes one question central to the theatrical experience:

How will Vijay's story finally end?

Ajay Devgn Returns as Vijay Salgaonkar

Ajay Devgn's return is at the heart of the film's appeal.

The actor reprises the role of Vijay Salgaonkar, while Tabu returns as Meera Deshmukh. The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also directed Drishyam 2.

The third installment is positioned as the conclusion of the Hindi franchise, making its theatrical release particularly significant for viewers who have followed the story since the first film.

Rather than introducing an entirely separate story, Drishyam 3 brings the franchise back to the characters and conflict that audiences already know.

The October 2 Release Is Getting Closer

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026.

With advance bookings already running into hundreds of thousands of tickets and the gross crossing ₹25 crore across the initial four-day period, attention will now turn toward the film's actual opening.

Trade estimates reported before release have varied, with some projections suggesting a potentially very strong opening. However, those figures remain estimates rather than confirmed box-office results.

The final opening-day collection will depend on actual audience turnout after the film reaches cinemas.

Drishyam 3 Could Become a Major Box Office Event

The advance-booking performance has already established Drishyam 3 as one of the major theatrical releases to watch this week.

Its strong pre-sales, the popularity of the franchise and Ajay Devgn's return as Vijay Salgaonkar have created considerable anticipation before release.

But the biggest question remains unanswered.

Will Drishyam 3: The Conclusion deliver the ending audiences have been waiting for?

The answer will arrive when the film opens in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
