Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Announce Adoption of Baby Girl

Millie Bobby Brown, best known for playing Eleven in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, has become a mother at just 21 years old.

Millie and her husband, Jake Bongiovi (the 23-year-old son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi), announced the news on Instagram on Thursday. The couple revealed that they have adopted a baby girl.

In their post, they wrote:

“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to start this beautiful new chapter of parenthood in peace and privacy. And then there were 3.”

Millie and Jake got married last year.

Earlier this year, in March, Millie spoke about wanting to become a young mom during an appearance on the Smartless podcast. She explained that her own parents became parents at a young age — her mom at 21 and her dad at 19.

She also shared that even as a child, she always dreamed of being a mother. She said she would play with baby dolls and tell her mom she wanted to be a mom one day, just like her.
