2025 MTV VMAs: Complete List of Winners
The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) took place on Sunday night at UBS Arena in New York. The show was hosted by LL Cool J and was broadcast live on CBS, MTV, and Paramount+.
This year, some of the world’s biggest stars like Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Rosé, Bruno Mars, and more won big awards. Two new categories were also added: Best Pop Artist and Best Country Video.
Major Winners of the Night

Ariana Grande won the biggest award of the night, Video of the Year, for her song “Brighter Days Ahead.” She won 3 awards in total.

Lady Gaga was the biggest overall winner with 4 awards, including Artist of the Year. Even though she had to cancel a Miami show due to a strained voice, she still performed later that night from Madison Square Garden.

Sabrina Carpenter won 3 awards, including Album of the Year for Short n’ Sweet.

Rosé and Bruno Mars won Song of the Year for their hit “APT.” They also won Best Collaboration with Lady Gaga for “Die With a Smile.”
