Jimmy Kimmel will deliver a special Christmas Day message on the U.K.’s Channel 4. The message will air as part of the channel’s famous Alternative Christmas Message, which has been shown every year for more than 30 years.

What Is the Alternative Christmas Message?

Channel 4’s Alternative Christmas Message is different from the traditional royal Christmas speech. Instead of the King, a special guest gives a unique and often bold message about the year. In the past, famous names like Stephen Fry, Sharon Osbourne, Ali G, and even Marge Simpson have hosted it. This year, it is Jimmy Kimmel’s turn.

Over the past few months, Jimmy Kimmel has been one of Donald Trump’s strongest critics on television. Donald Trump celebrated Kimmel’s suspension on social media, but later expressed anger when the show returned and gained high ratings.
