NCIS: Tony & Ziva brought back the beloved characters more than a decade after Ziva left the original series. The story followed Tony and Ziva as they raised their daughter, Tali, while being forced to go on the run across Europe after Tony’s security company was attacked.

Although the season ended on a hopeful note—with Tony and Ziva deciding to start dating again—there were many storylines that could have continued in future seasons. Fans feel those opportunities were taken away too soon.

Fans React With Anger and Disappointment

Social media quickly filled with angry reactions. One fan wrote they were “totally in shock” and thanked the show for finally giving Tony and Ziva the ending they deserved, but said they were still sad and upset the story could not continue.
