The Roundup Action Franchise Expands With New Spin-off Movie

One of the most underrated and powerful action franchises in recent years is getting a brand-new spin-off. The Roundup series, led by action star Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee), is expanding with a fresh movie titled Tokyo Burst, and fans can expect explosive action in a completely new setting.

The upcoming film will introduce new characters, a new story, and a new location, while still staying connected to the popular Roundup universe. The movie is officially scheduled for release in summer 2026.

Tokyo Burst Brings The Action to Japan

The film will be directed by Eiji Uchida, a respected Japanese filmmaker known for projects like The Naked Director, Night Flower, and Matching. The movie is a joint Japanese–Korean production, adding a fresh creative style to the franchise.

Don Lee Remains Key to the Franchise
