Marvel Studios is putting together one of its strongest creative teams for Avengers: Doomsday. With fans expecting an epic story, the studio has brought in several of the writers behind some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest successes.

Because the movie will feature many superheroes, different storylines, and major events, Marvel wants to make sure the script is as strong as possible. The same writing team is also helping shape Avengers: Secret Wars, making both films closely connected.

Spider Man Team Moves to Avengers

A recent interview with director Destin Daniel Cretton revealed an interesting update. While working on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the original writers, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, left the project to focus on the upcoming Avengers movies.

To help finish the Spider-Man script, Cretton brought in screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes, who is known for his work on Challengers. Although Kuritzkes worked closely on the film, it is not yet clear whether he will receive official writing credit.

This change shows just how important Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars are to Marvel Studios.
