Actor Raymond Cruz Arrested Following Confrontation With Neighbors

Raymond Cruz , the actor best known for playing Tuco Salamanca on Breaking Bad , was arrested on Monday, September 8, for suspicion of misdemeanor battery . However, no official charges have been filed yet. The incident happened around 10:40 a.m. in Los Angeles . According to police, Cruz got into a dispute with someone during which he accidentally sprayed water on them while washing his car. His agent, Raphael Berko , explained that Cruz was cleaning his car when a white minivan with three women parked extremely close to him. Cruz asked them to move because their car was so close that it would get wet. When they refused, he continued washing his car. The women then began filming him. While Cruz turned to ask them to stop filming, water from his hose splashed onto their car. One of the women called the police, which led to Cruz being arrested—even though, according to his agent, he has never been arrested before and is known for playing a detective on TV for 15 years . The film celebrates the life and career of John Candy, the famous Canadian comedian who died in 1994 at the age of 43 from a heart attack. This year’s opening gala focused strongly on Canadian pride. That was fitting since Candy grew up in Toronto and later became one of the most loved comedy actors of his time. Canadian Actor Graham Greene Dies at 73 Graham Greene, the Canadian First Nations actor best known for his role in Dances With Wolves , has died at the age of 73. His manager, Gerry Jordan, confirmed the news and said Greene passed away peacefully of natural causes. Greene was a member of the Oneida Nation , part of the Six Nations Reserve in southern Ontario. Before becoming an actor, he worked many different jobs — including as a draftsman, civil technologist, steelworker, and even part of a rock band’s crew. In the 1970s, he began acting in theatre in the UK, which he later said gave him the strong discipline needed for his film career. His big breakthrough came in 1990 when he played Kicking Bird, a Lakota medicine man, in Kevin Costner’s film Dances With Wolves . The performance earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor and widespread praise.
